2008: Singapore Grand Prix Electrical Infrastructure Milestone

Cyclect delivered electrical and roustabout works for the Singapore Grand Prix from 2008 to 2017, supporting the world's only F1 night race across ten consecutive editions on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Cyclect delivered electrical and roustabout works for the inaugural Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix in 2008 — the world’s first Formula 1 night race. The engagement continued for ten consecutive years, with subsequent contract renewals extending Cyclect’s role through the 2017 race.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit is a temporary installation on public roads in the heart of Singapore’s CBD. Every year, comprehensive electrical infrastructure — power distribution, race lighting, communications, control systems and structural supports — must be installed, commissioned, used and then completely removed within a tightly compressed schedule, all while coordinating with road, utility and city authorities.

Ten consecutive years on the Singapore Grand Prix demonstrates not just technical competence but operational reliability in one of the most publicly visible and logistically complex engineering environments in Singapore.
