2014: First Major Industrial Solar Power Project

Cyclect completed its first major solar project in 2015 — a 2MW rooftop installation at Asia Pacific Breweries — beginning a renewable energy portfolio that has since grown to utility scale.

Cyclect completed its first major industrial solar project in 2015: a 2MW rooftop solar installation on the Asia Pacific Breweries factory, making Tiger Beer one of the first major consumer products in Singapore to be brewed using solar energy.

The APB project required integration of a large-scale generation system into an active industrial facility — managing structural loadings, electrical isolation, grid connection and commissioning without disrupting production. It was Cyclect’s first solar project at this scale, and it provided the foundation for a growing renewable energy portfolio.

Subsequent solar work expanded to 9MWp at a semiconductor fabrication facility and a 50MW utility-scale development in Bangladesh, demonstrating how the capability built on the APB rooftop has scaled into more demanding applications.
