2020: Electrical Works for Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility

Cyclect delivered electrical infrastructure for the NEA's Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility, covering power, lighting, earthing and ELV systems across Singapore's largest waste-to-energy plant.

Cyclect Engineering was appointed to deliver the electrical works for the National Environment Agency’s Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility — Singapore’s largest waste-to-energy installation, which also incorporates water reclamation functions.

The scope included power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection and extra-low voltage systems across the facility. Tuas Nexus is a complex installation that co-locates multiple engineering systems across a large site: electrical works must be coordinated with mechanical, structural and controls interfaces, and commissioned in a sequence that allows each system to be handed over progressively.

Tuas Nexus is part of Singapore’s long-term resource sustainability strategy. Delivering the electrical infrastructure for this facility placed Cyclect among the engineering contractors contributing to Singapore’s national environmental ambitions.
