Cyclect and CYBERDYNE Inc signed a collaboration agreement to jointly develop an advanced robotic and intelligence system for the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore’s Aviation Challenge 1. The objective was to automate baggage handling for narrow-body aircraft, reducing the manpower required in a physically demanding ground handling role.
CYBERDYNE is a Japanese robotics company known for its HAL exoskeleton technology. The partnership brought together Cyclect’s engineering integration capability and on-site execution experience with CYBERDYNE’s robotics expertise.
The collaboration placed Cyclect in a space that sits at the intersection of engineering services and automation — a direction the group has continued to develop through subsequent work in robotic mobility systems for aviation and other applications.
