Jurong Island–Pioneer Cable Tunnel Project Completed

Cyclect completed the electrical infrastructure for the 5.2km Jurong Island–Pioneer Transmission Cable Tunnel, handling 400kV and 230kV power distribution for Singapore's energy network.

Cyclect Engineering completed the electrical infrastructure works for the Jurong Island to Pioneer Transmission Cable Tunnel (JIPTC), a 5.2km underground cable route handling 400kV and 230kV power transmission.

The tunnel connects Jurong Island — Singapore’s petrochemical and energy hub — to the Pioneer substation on the mainland. Delivering high-voltage electrical infrastructure within a cable tunnel environment requires precise installation discipline, careful coordination with civil and structural works, and stringent safety management given the confined working conditions.

This project placed Cyclect among a small number of contractors with direct experience in high-voltage transmission infrastructure in Singapore, extending its credentials in critical national energy systems.
