Cyclect expanded its motor and generator workshop capacity in January 2025 with the opening of a new facility at Tuas (WS2), and received ABB Value Provider certification — recognising that Cyclect meets ABB’s technical and service quality standards for authorised servicing of ABB motors and generators.
ABB Value Provider status is not a routine accreditation. It requires a contractor to demonstrate the tooling, workshop processes, personnel qualifications and quality management systems that ABB specifies for authorised service delivery. Achieving it positions Cyclect as a qualified ABB service organisation — relevant for clients who operate ABB equipment and require servicing that maintains manufacturer standards and warranty compliance.
The combination of expanded physical capacity and formal OEM certification reflects a deliberate investment in the motor and generator MRO business, reinforced by the ABB service division acquisition in late 2024.
