Supporting Healthcare Technology Through Reliable Electrical and System Installation

Cyclect supported the installation of a patient monitoring system at the TTSH Integrated Care Hub for Conex Healthcare Pte Ltd.

The system uses PreSAGE sensors installed at patient beds, together with alarm units at individual wards or cubicles. When patient movement or bed-exit activity is detected, the system can activate an alarm to alert healthcare personnel. Cyclect’s scope also included the installation of power points supporting the sensors and alarm system. 

Installation within the healthcare environment

The works included both pole-mounted and L-bracket-mounted PreSAGE sensors, with mounting arrangements adapted to suit the existing ceiling and ward environment. Alarm units were installed outside the patient cubicles, with the associated electrical infrastructure coordinated with the monitoring equipment.

Working within a healthcare facility also required careful control of the work area. Internal hoarding and surface protection were used during installation to minimise the impact of the works on the surrounding environment.

The project demonstrates Cyclect’s ability to integrate electrical infrastructure with specialised technology systems, while executing works carefully within a healthcare setting.
