Cyclect launched a dedicated Mechanical Services unit in 1975, extending its capability into structural steelwork, mechanical fabrication and maintenance for the marine and offshore sector.
The addition of mechanical services was a direct response to client need. Marine and industrial clients were already engaging Cyclect for electrical work — and they needed the mechanical scope handled by someone who understood the same assets and operating environment. Adding mechanical capability in-house reduced the coordination risk of managing separate subcontractors.
The Mechanical Services unit established an in-house capability that has been deepened over decades. Today, Cyclect’s ability to coordinate electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and controls work under a single contract remains one of its practical advantages in industrial and infrastructure project environments.
